2020 VINTAGE
Characterized by slightly warmer than usual temperatures and above-average rainfall, especially in the winter months. The vegetative cycle developed without meteorological incidents and with great plant health. Harvest took place between September 17 and October 1. The wines of this vintage will have an intense weight of fruit, a medium sweet tannin and moderate alcohol. They will be fresh and light wines.

The 2020 campaign was rated by the Regulatory Council as: Excellent

2019 VINTAGE
The 2019 was a typical dry year without visible symptoms of drought and very healthy. We have got berries of smaller size than usual. Harvesting happens from 25th of September to 5th of October giving medium yield and perfect ripeness. Wines will be fresh and elegant with very expressive nose, great balance and velvety tannins.

The vintage was qualified as Excellent.

2018 VINTAGE
The 2018 came with a generous rain in winter and spring followed by dry summer with cold nights in August. Harvesting happens from 1st of October to 12th of October giving good yield and ripeness. Wines will be lighter fresh with great weight of fruit component and balanced tannins.

The vintage was qualified as Very Good.

2017 was a low-yielding, early harvest, characterized by deep frost on April 27th, leading to 65 % less yield in La Horra. High temperatures followed with severe drought during spring and summer, giving very small berries and healthy bunches. Harvest was ealier than usual from September 14th - 27th giving the wines powerful black fruit aromas, concentration, polished tannins, intense colour and low acidity.

The 2017 vintage was qualified as Very Good.
