Dawn Chorus Sauvignon Blanc

A wine bursting with character, classic grapefruit and citrus notes, some minerality, passionfruit, and gold melon flavors. Bright acidity and rich palate make this a mouth-filling, interesting, and very drinkable Sauvignon Blanc. 

In my days with Heritage Wine Cellars (Illinois), I helped create a little wine called Day Break with Stu Devine and Rod McDonald (Wine Maker/Partner Te Awanga and WildSong).   Rod and his wife, Jo (Owner), want to create something for themselves and their children... Dawn Chorus is the start.  

 A family project that pays tribute to Jo's Grandmother. She was an ornithologist, and her passion for birds is the inspiration for the label. The family lives close to Napier, NZ, a beautiful town with Art Deco architecture. You can see that the bird on the label has that vibe.
